Nick joined Baldwin Risk Partners (BRP) as an Account Manager in early 2020 when AgencyRM became an official partner of BRP.  As an Account Manager, he focuses his vast understanding of the Medicare industry and inside knowledge of the FMO channel on benefiting the growth and success of our partner agents and agencies.  With a focus on recruiting, market analysis, business growth, and sales stimulation, Nick can take a new agent or agency from zero to hero faster than most anyone in the industry.  You probably can’t tell from that last statement that he’s a comic book fanatic, can you? Or that he’s writing his own bio…

Nick started his career in Medicare the summer of 2010 at one of the top ten national FMO/IMOs at that time.  He learned the ropes fast and connected with some of the top Medicare selling agencies in the country, including VibrantUSA.  Nick spent the next 5 years honing his skills as the Regional Sales Director (Account Manager) of a seven-state territory.  In that time, he made a strong connection with VibrantUSA and was touched by their commitment to taking care of their clients.  So, when offered the chance to join the incredible team at AgencyRM in early 2016, he jumped.  Nick had always known that should they step into the FMO world and combine their efforts; they could be the change that the industry needed.  AgencyRM could take care of agents, the way VibrantUSA took care of clients.  And they did.  So well in fact that they grew from a regional FMO in WA/OR to a national presence that caught the attention of Baldwin Risk Partners/Guided Medicare Solutions.  With this partnership Nick has been granted the ability to share his passion for agents and the population they serve with an ever-expanding group of highly dedicated individuals.

Outside of work, Nick and his wife Sarah spend as much time with their double rainbow baby, Bodhi, as possible.  Ten years in the making, he will always be the highlight of their lives.  Having just turned 6, Bodhi was born in Nick’s first year with AgencyRM, so he is as much a part of the team as anyone.  In fact, Nick helped process apps all night when Bodhi was first born, because sleeping was not an option.   Some of Bodhi’s first words were reciting the voicemail pitch that he heard his Poppa saying ridiculous times a day.   Nick also enjoys video games and is a huge comic book geek.  His favorite superhero will always be Superman.  He is a cancer survivor and spends a good deal of time raising money for St Jude’s cancer research, and Children’s hospital.

Nick’s education includes a BS in Psychology from Ohio University, and an Associate’s in broadcast engineering.  One of his first jobs during and out of college was as a DJ at a local radio station just outside Athens Ohio.  Nick started as a weekend DJ, and after 7 years was managing the number 1 rated radio station in Southeast Ohio.  His claim to fame was an epic interview and invite to hang out back stage with the legendary Charlie Daniels.
